I 💕LLOOOVVVEEE 💕 L.J. Shen’s writing, she is one of my favorite authors. However, I could tell right away this was one of her earlier novels (2015). I also came to the realization of how amazing her new editors are because she writes COMPLETELY different and there’s never any errors in her current novels. This book definitely wasn’t using those same editors apparently. . .

🔥 – Ty is a true alpha male. . . I love me some alpha at all times! . . . .sighhhh

🔥 / ☠️ – Pro & Con is it is over angsty, but it made for a page turner.

☠️ – Only Blaire’s (female character) POV, as I was reading I
wanted Ty’s POV and it just left me a little hallow desiring more.

☠️ – There are those unrealistic long waits within the novel. Without giving away any spoilers, it’s like when one of the main characters waits like a month to apologize or call etc. I really, really, really HATE this dramatic pause in books that seem like a fake way to draw out page counts & it is also an annoying suspense tactic that makes absolutely no sense (not to mention shows immaturity of the writer). However, you definitely don’t see this occurring in Miss Shen’s later novels.

☠️ – There was 2 grammatical errors found, if you know me, I loathe errors (like despise).

⭐️⭐️⭐️ – Eh not a huge fan, there are SO many other books that are worth reading from L.J. Shen that show how spectacular of a writer she is that this novel really isn’t worth the trouble.
